Camp Report - Practice No. 4

The parking lot at the Casanova Center was overflowing again on Thursday as fans clamored to get a glimpse of the 2010 Ducks taking part in practice No. 4. Temperatures approached but did not quite reach 90 degrees as the Ducks went through their last practice of the NCAA's mandatory acclimation period before being allowed to strap on full pads.

Freshman kicker Alejandro Maldonado split the uprights on a field goal attempt that would have been good from deep to start the day and Chip Kelly preached ball security in the team huddle to end it. In between, there were plenty of positives and an equal number of teachable moments as the squad closes in on three weeks before teeing it up for real against New Mexico on Sept. 4.
