Snap, Hold & Kick Clinic and Competition Update of 2010 Season

This year, for the first time S, H&K held a pre-clinic for the advanced snapper’s, holder’s and kicker’s mentors in March/April at San Bernardino Valley College.  We had over 20 college/high school students show up for this training.

Our regular program was held at Fontana Lewis Sports Complex on May 1st through July 24th.  We started with 123 kids signed up on the first day and a total of 264 kids came to the 12 training sessions.

Snap, Hold & Kick Director, Hugo Castellanos, and Recruitment Director, Bobby Pleasant were able to assist eight kids in obtaining scholarships to colleges/universities.

This year was our 10 year milestone; on July 10th we held our 100th free clinic for kickers, punters & snappers.  We are very proud of the fact that for the last ten years we have had great success in teaching kids football kicking skills and providing personal growth opportunities through a structured program in a relaxed learning environment.  Our mission is to educate America’s youth through sports and education and this would have not be possible without all the volunteers and community partners throughout the years.
